# Photo Sheet jobs

Each section below walks through one job with the tools of the `photosheet` MCP server. The same recipes are MCP prompts (prompts/list) on `https://photosheet.openkrill.app/mcp`.
Connect the server at `https://photosheet.openkrill.app/mcp` in your MCP client settings (remote streamable HTTP, no key), then call its tools as normal tool calls. They are not command line programs: Bash, curl and scripts cannot reach them.

## Turn a photo into a table

Job: Turn a photo into a table, with the Photo Sheet MCP server.

Use the `photo_to_sheet` tool for this job.

Work on the user's request. If there is none yet, ask what they need. A request this job handles: "Turn this grocery receipt into a spreadsheet and check that the total is right."

Steps:
1. Call `photo_to_sheet` as a normal MCP tool call, with the request's values in the fields of its inputSchema.
2. If a value the tool needs is missing and you cannot tell it from the request, ask the user one short question first.
3. This input is known to work; copy its format, not its values: `{"image_base64":"/9j/4AAQSkZJRgAB"}`
4. For the request "Turn this grocery receipt into a spreadsheet and check that the total is right.", a correct answer looks like this: One row per item with quantity, unit price and amount, the subtotal, tax and total in totals, and checks that say the amounts add up to the subtotal.
5. Follow the server's own rules:
   - Photo Sheet turns a photo, a voice note or a pasted text into a table.
   - Use photo_to_sheet for a picture, voice_to_sheet for audio and text_to_sheet for text.
   - Show the user the table, then any check with status mismatch and any unclear cell, and ask them to compare those with the original.
   - Give them links.page to print and links.csv to download.
   - Do not change the numbers yourself: a mismatch means the paper or the reading is wrong, and only the user can say which.
   - When status is capacity_reached or unavailable, say so and offer to copy the content yourself instead.
6. If the call fails or the answer looks wrong, tell the user, then report it with `submit_feedback` (kind bug, tool `photo_to_sheet`).

## Turn a voice note into a table

Job: Turn a voice note into a table, with the Photo Sheet MCP server.

Use the `voice_to_sheet` tool for this job.

Work on the user's request. If there is none yet, ask what they need. A request this job handles: "Here is my voice note with today's work expenses. Put it in a CSV."

Steps:
1. Call `voice_to_sheet` as a normal MCP tool call, with the request's values in the fields of its inputSchema.
2. If a value the tool needs is missing and you cannot tell it from the request, ask the user one short question first.
3. This input is known to work; copy its format, not its values: `{"audio_base64":"T2dnUwACAAAAAAAAAAA=","language":"en"}`
4. For the request "Here is my voice note with today's work expenses. Put it in a CSV.", a correct answer looks like this: A table of item and amount, the transcript, and any misheard amount in unclear.
6. If the call fails or the answer looks wrong, tell the user, then report it with `submit_feedback` (kind bug, tool `voice_to_sheet`).

## Turn a chat or list into a table

Job: Turn a chat or list into a table, with the Photo Sheet MCP server.

Use the `text_to_sheet` tool for this job.

Work on the user's request. If there is none yet, ask what they need. A request this job handles: "Grace: 10 meat pies Friday. Tunde: 2 trays jollof. Grace again: make the zobo 8 bottles not 6. Put these orders in a table."

Steps:
1. Call `text_to_sheet` as a normal MCP tool call, with the request's values in the fields of its inputSchema. It needs `text`.
2. If a value the tool needs is missing and you cannot tell it from the request, ask the user one short question first.
3. For the request "Grace: 10 meat pies Friday. Tunde: 2 trays jollof. Grace again: make the zobo 8 bottles not 6. Put these orders in a table.", a correct answer looks like this: One row per customer and item, with Grace's zobo at 8 bottles and the change noted.
5. If the call fails or the answer looks wrong, tell the user, then report it with `submit_feedback` (kind bug, tool `text_to_sheet`).
