# Hiring Signals

Brief a company's hiring and watch companies for new and closed roles. It is free, with no sign-up and no key.

## What it does

Hiring Signals tells you which companies are hiring, for what, and what changed since you last looked.

Ask "what is Snap hiring for?", "how fast is Airbnb hiring this month?" or "watch Stripe, Ramp and Linear and tell me about new roles".

It reads the public job boards companies publish on 30 hiring systems, Workday included. A history store reads thousands of boards every day and keeps every role it sees, so it can count the roles opened and closed over 7, 30 and 90 days and week by week.

A watch follows up to 25 companies. The first call records every open role; each later call with the same watch key returns only the roles opened and closed since the last call.

Paid calls use x402: 0.005 US dollars per company lookup and 0.01 US dollars per watch call that reports a change. A watch call with no change costs nothing. Calls without a payment are free within the shared daily limits.

It stores the companies on a watch and the ids of the roles it has seen, under a hash of the watch key, and nothing about you.

- Briefs one company's hiring: open roles by department and country, newest roles
- Counts roles opened and closed over 7, 30 and 90 days and per week from a daily history of each board
- Watches up to 25 companies and returns new and closed roles since the last call
- Ranks a watch's companies by hiring pace
- Reads Workday and 29 other hiring systems by careers URL, ats:slug or company name

## Connect

The MCP server is `https://hiring.openkrill.app/mcp` (streamable HTTP). It needs no key.

Claude Code, in one command:

```
claude mcp add --transport http hiring-signals https://hiring.openkrill.app/mcp
```

Hermes Agent, in one command that answers its two setup questions (no key, enable all tools):

```
printf 'n\ny\n' | hermes mcp add hiring-signals --url https://hiring.openkrill.app/mcp
```

Or add these lines to `~/.hermes/config.yaml`, under an existing `mcp_servers:` key if the file has one. Start a new Hermes session after either step.

```
mcp_servers:
  hiring-signals:
    url: https://hiring.openkrill.app/mcp
```

Any other agent: give it this page's Markdown address, `https://tools.openkrill.app/tools/hiring-signals.md`, and ask it to connect Hiring Signals.

Paste the address into your assistant once: the [connect steps](https://tools.openkrill.app/#connect) cover Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and the [install guides](https://tools.openkrill.app/integrations) show the same steps for each client.

## Job recipes for agents

Step-by-step recipes that walk an agent through 3 jobs with this server's tools:

- Company hiring brief, with `company_hiring_brief`
- Watch companies for new and closed roles, with `watch_new_roles`
- Watchlist hiring digest, with `watchlist_digest`

[Download the recipes as SKILL.md](https://tools.openkrill.app/skills/hiring-signals-jobs/SKILL.md). Save it as `hiring-signals-jobs/SKILL.md` in your agent's skills folder. A connected MCP client gets the same recipes from `prompts/list` on this server.

It is listed under Jobs, sales and planning in the [full tool list](https://tools.openkrill.app/tools). The same facts in plain text are in [llms.txt](https://tools.openkrill.app/llms.txt).
