# Photo Sheet

Turn a receipt, notebook page, chat screenshot or voice note into a CSV table, with the sums checked. It is free, with no sign-up and no key.

Also known as: Photo and voice to a sheet, Receipt to spreadsheet, Picture to table.

## What it does

Photo Sheet turns a photo or a voice note into a clean table. It reads receipts, notebook pages, shop shelves, chat screenshots with orders, timesheets, expense lists and printed logs, in the language they are written in.

photo_to_sheet copies what the picture shows into rows and columns. voice_to_sheet transcribes a spoken list with free speech-to-text and then does the same. text_to_sheet takes a pasted chat or list. Numbers come out plain (25.000 on a Vietnamese bill becomes 25000, 650,00 in Spain becomes 650.00), so the CSV opens straight into a spreadsheet.

Fixed rules then check the sums: quantity times unit price on each line, the column total against the subtotal, subtotal plus tax against the total, and the hours or parts in a row against its row total. A sum on the paper that does not match is reported, never silently fixed. Cells the model could not read with confidence are listed in unclear.

Each table comes back as JSON and CSV text, with a printable page and a CSV link kept for 24 hours. A photo is read by Google Gemini and text by Groq or Gemini, on their free tiers; speech-to-text runs on our own server. We never keep the photo or the voice note. It is free, with a daily limit that keeps it free.

- Copies a receipt, notebook page, shelf, chat screenshot, timesheet or log photo into a table
- Turns a voice note that lists expenses, orders or counts into a table, with its transcript
- Turns a pasted chat with orders into one row per item per customer, with changes applied
- Keeps the page's own language and writes numbers plainly for spreadsheets
- Checks quantity x price, column totals, tax and row totals, and flags a wrong sum on the paper
- Lists the cells it could not read with confidence
- Returns CSV and JSON, plus a printable page kept for 24 hours

## Connect

The MCP server is `https://photosheet.openkrill.app/mcp` (streamable HTTP). It needs no key.

Claude Code, in one command:

```
claude mcp add --transport http photosheet https://photosheet.openkrill.app/mcp
```

Hermes Agent, in one command that answers its two setup questions (no key, enable all tools):

```
printf 'n\ny\n' | hermes mcp add photosheet --url https://photosheet.openkrill.app/mcp
```

Or add these lines to `~/.hermes/config.yaml`, under an existing `mcp_servers:` key if the file has one. Start a new Hermes session after either step.

```
mcp_servers:
  photosheet:
    url: https://photosheet.openkrill.app/mcp
```

Any other agent: give it this page's Markdown address, `https://tools.openkrill.app/tools/photosheet.md`, and ask it to connect Photo Sheet.

Paste the address into your assistant once: the [connect steps](https://tools.openkrill.app/#connect) cover Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and the [install guides](https://tools.openkrill.app/integrations) show the same steps for each client.

## Job recipes for agents

Step-by-step recipes that walk an agent through 3 jobs with this server's tools:

- Turn a photo into a table, with `photo_to_sheet`
- Turn a voice note into a table, with `voice_to_sheet`
- Turn a chat or list into a table, with `text_to_sheet`

[Download the recipes as SKILL.md](https://tools.openkrill.app/skills/photosheet-jobs/SKILL.md). Save it as `photosheet-jobs/SKILL.md` in your agent's skills folder. A connected MCP client gets the same recipes from `prompts/list` on this server.

It is listed under Writing, media and files in the [full tool list](https://tools.openkrill.app/tools). The same facts in plain text are in [llms.txt](https://tools.openkrill.app/llms.txt).
