# Send Out

Turn an answer into an email draft, calendar event or share link you send yourself. It is free, with no sign-up and no key.

## What it does

Turn assistant output into ready-to-send drafts with no sign-in. You open each draft in your own app, check it and press send yourself.

Ask "draft an email to the team with these action items", "make a calendar event for our sprint review on Monday", "create a WhatsApp link for this customer reply", "save this research as a note in my Obsidian vault", or "prepare an X post for this launch".

Send Out returns standard links (mailto, Google Calendar, WhatsApp wa.me, Obsidian obsidian://new and X share links) and standard files (.eml email drafts, .ics calendar files and Markdown documents with YAML front matter).

These links and files are made in memory and nothing is kept. The one exception is prepare_transfer: when you ask for a download link, it stores that one file for 1 to 168 hours (24 by default). After that the link stops working.

Send Out does not send anything for you. It does not support Instagram or LinkedIn messages, and it does not send bulk or automated email.

- Creates mailto draft links and RFC 822 .eml files ready to open in email clients
- Creates Google Calendar links and RFC 5545 .ics calendar files with reminders
- Creates WhatsApp wa.me click-to-chat links with normalized phone numbers
- Creates Obsidian obsidian://new links that open Obsidian with the note filled in
- Creates X post share links checked against character limits
- Generates Markdown files with structured YAML frontmatter
- Stages one file behind a temporary download link that expires in 1 to 168 hours
- Never sends a message from the server: you review and send every draft

## Connect

The MCP server is `https://sendout.openkrill.app/mcp` (streamable HTTP). It needs no key.

Claude Code, in one command:

```
claude mcp add --transport http send-out https://sendout.openkrill.app/mcp
```

Hermes Agent, in one command that answers its two setup questions (no key, enable all tools):

```
printf 'n\ny\n' | hermes mcp add send-out --url https://sendout.openkrill.app/mcp
```

Or add these lines to `~/.hermes/config.yaml`, under an existing `mcp_servers:` key if the file has one. Start a new Hermes session after either step.

```
mcp_servers:
  send-out:
    url: https://sendout.openkrill.app/mcp
```

Any other agent: give it this page's Markdown address, `https://tools.openkrill.app/tools/send-out.md`, and ask it to connect Send Out.

Paste the address into your assistant once: the [connect steps](https://tools.openkrill.app/#connect) cover Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and the [install guides](https://tools.openkrill.app/integrations) show the same steps for each client.

## Job recipes for agents

Step-by-step recipes that walk an agent through 3 jobs with this server's tools:

- Draft email, with `draft_email`
- Create calendar event, with `create_calendar_event`
- Create WhatsApp link, with `create_whatsapp_link`

[Download the recipes as SKILL.md](https://tools.openkrill.app/skills/send-out-jobs/SKILL.md). Save it as `send-out-jobs/SKILL.md` in your agent's skills folder. A connected MCP client gets the same recipes from `prompts/list` on the gateway, `https://api.openkrill.app/gateway/mcp`.

It is listed under Writing, media and files in the [full tool list](https://tools.openkrill.app/tools). The same facts in plain text are in [llms.txt](https://tools.openkrill.app/llms.txt).
