# Settlement Claim Finder

Find open US class action settlements that fit where you live and what you bought. It is free, with no sign-up and no key.

Also known as: class action claim finder, open settlements list.

## What it does

Class action settlements pay people who bought a product, used a service or had their data exposed, but only if they file a claim before the deadline. Most people never hear about the ones that fit them.

Tell us where you live and what you bought or used, such as 'Texas, iPhone 16, Kroger pharmacy'. We'll show you the open settlements that may fit. Each one lists who can claim, the payout the settlement site states, the deadline, the official claim link and the page the facts come from.

Every fact comes from the court-approved settlement site or a government page, never from a blog or a claims aggregator. A collector re-reads each official page once a day and holds a row back when its deadline words change. Filing is always free on the official site. This is not legal advice.

- Lists open US class action settlements that fit where you live and what you bought or used
- Gives the deadline, days left, payout as stated and the official claim link for each
- Cites the official settlement page and the day each row was last confirmed
- Checks whether a settlement link from an email or text is the official site on the list

## Who it is for

Anyone who asks an AI assistant a question like this one: “I live in Texas and bought an iPhone 16. Can I claim anything?”

## Price

Settlement Claim Finder is free to use. There is no sign-up, no account and no API key. Calls are limited to 60 calls a minute per network and 5000 calls a day per server, shared by all callers. Repeat questions are answered from a cache.

## Tools it offers

- `find_settlements`: Find open class action settlements you may claim
- `check_settlement_site`: Check whether a settlement link is the official site

## Connect

The MCP server is `https://settlements.openkrill.app/mcp` (streamable HTTP). It needs no key.

Claude Code, in one command:

```
claude mcp add --transport http settlements https://settlements.openkrill.app/mcp
```

Hermes Agent, in one command that answers its two setup questions (no key, enable all tools):

```
printf 'n\ny\n' | hermes mcp add settlements --url https://settlements.openkrill.app/mcp
```

Or add these lines to `~/.hermes/config.yaml`, under an existing `mcp_servers:` key if the file has one. Start a new Hermes session after either step.

```
mcp_servers:
  settlements:
    url: https://settlements.openkrill.app/mcp
```

Any other agent: give it this page's Markdown address, `https://tools.openkrill.app/tools/settlements.md`, and ask it to connect Settlement Claim Finder.

Paste the address into your assistant once: the [connect steps](https://tools.openkrill.app/#connect) cover Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and the [install guides](https://tools.openkrill.app/integrations) show the same steps for each client.
