Etsy Listing Signals: free, no sign-up

Find the new Etsy listings that are taking off.

Type a niche. See the new listings gaining saves fastest, their daily views and saves, and the tags they use, from real daily readings.

One to three plain words. Every word must start a word in the listing's title or tags.

Or try:

Checking whether readings exist...

How a listing gets its bucket

The rules are checked top to bottom, and the first that matches wins. By default the search shows the three growing buckets.

  1. Calibrating. Fewer than 2 days of readings, so no daily change can be computed yet.
  2. Super Breakout. 14 days old or younger and gained at least 3 saves in the last day.
  3. Graduated Winner. Older than 14 days, at least 20 saves in total, and still gaining at least 1 save a day over the last 7 days.
  4. Steady Grower. Gaining at least 0.5 saves a day on average over the last 7 days (or since tracking started).
  5. Probation. Everything else: slow or no growth. A listing 7 days old with no saves at all stops being tracked.

What each number means

delta_saves
Saves gained per day between the last two daily readings.
delta_views
Views gained per day between the last two daily readings. Etsy counts views once a day.
daily_save_rate_pct
Saves gained divided by views gained between the last two daily readings, times 100. Empty when fewer than 10 new views.
trend_7d
Total saves at each of the last 7 daily readings, oldest first.

Where the readings come from

Our collector uses the Etsy Open API, never Etsy's web pages. Every 4 hours it searches the newest listings for common print-on-demand products and for the niches people ask about here, and it reads the views and favorites of up to 2,000 tracked listings. It keeps one reading a day per listing, because Etsy counts views once a day. A listing leaves the tracked set when it is older than 30 days, or at 7 days old with no saves.

We run the collector only with Etsy's written OK for this use, which we have asked for. Until Etsy says yes, the tool shows no listing numbers.

Sales and revenue are private on Etsy, so they are not shown or estimated.

Trademark guard

Listings whose title or tags name a trademark or character brand (such as Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Nintendo, Pokemon, NFL or NBA) are left out: copying them is an infringement risk, so they are counted here and never shown or used for top tags.

For agents

An agent gets the same answer in one call. Connect the MCP server https://etsysignals.openkrill.app/mcp and call find_etsy_breakouts with a niche, or read it over plain HTTP:

curl -s 'https://tools.openkrill.app/etsy-signals/read?niche=cat%20mom&max_age_days=14&sort=delta_saves'

The answer holds the listings with their numbers, the top tags, the count in each bucket, the bucket rules, the count left out by the trademark guard, and the time of the readings. status is not_started until real readings exist.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the numbers come from?

From the Etsy Open API, Etsy's official interface for apps. Our collector finds new listings for common print-on-demand products and for the niches people ask about, then reads each listing's public view count and favorites count once a day. The deltas, the save rate and the buckets are computed from those daily readings. Nothing is estimated and no Etsy web page is read.

Why are some listings left out?

Listings whose title or tags name a trademark or character brand (such as Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Nintendo, Pokemon, NFL or NBA) are left out: copying them is an infringement risk, so they are counted here and never shown or used for top tags. The answer says how many were left out.

Why does my niche show nothing yet?

Signals need 2 daily readings of a listing. A niche we do not track yet is queued when you ask, searched from the next collector run (every 4 hours), and has its first deltas a day later.

Does it show sales or revenue?

No. Etsy keeps sales private, so the tool shows views and saves only and never estimates sales.

How fresh is the data?

The collector runs every 4 hours. Etsy's API terms forbid showing listing data more than 6 hours older than Etsy's own site, so readings older than that are never shown.

The term 'Etsy' is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This Application uses Etsy's API, but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy.
