Roles
Only roles the current tools can actually do work for. Each page names the tool, the question to ask, and the install guide for ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and Pi.
- Security engineer. Two read-only servers cover the questions a security engineer asks before a patch meeting: how bad a CVE id is, and whether a named package release has a known advisory.
- Job seeker. Company Jobs Finder reads the public boards companies already publish. It does not apply for you, and it does not open LinkedIn.
- Recruiter. A recruiter can use the same public boards a candidate sees, plus a keyword check that compares pasted profile text with words commonly searched for a target title. The plugin never fetches LinkedIn.
- Researcher. Paper Finder and Citation Checker answer different questions. One finds a record and an abstract. The other checks a bibliography line against Crossref, the DOI system and OpenAlex.
- Shopify operator. Three servers cover the catalog and customs questions a Shopify operator asks before an import or a price check. None of them write to the store.
- Software developer. Dev Facts Check, Package Health Check and CVE Risk Check answer the reference questions that show up in a pull request. Document Tools counts text or writes a calendar file when the question is not about a dependency.
- Startup founder. Startup Name Check and Domain Mail Check read public registries and DNS. They do not register a domain, send mail, or show who owns a name.
- SEO specialist. SEO Audit and Site Check report what a public site serves. They do not measure rankings, traffic or backlinks, and they refuse private and local addresses.
- Importer. Tariff Code Finder and Shop Duty Desk read public schedules and apply the published low-value EU rule. Every code they return is a candidate, not a binding classification.
- Compliance reader. Rules Lookup reads the Electronic Code of Federal Regulations and the Federal Register. EU Business Check reads VIES, GLEIF and two company registers when the question is about a legal entity rather than a regulation.
- Travel planner. Travel Check reports what GOV.UK, the US State Department, the FAA and the Aviation Weather Center publish. It does not know your passport, and it is not a source for flight planning.
- Operations coordinator. Business Days and Holidays uses the Nager.Date and OpenHolidays calendars and says how it counted: which weekend days, which holidays, and whether the start and end dates were included.
- Writer. AI Text Check marks habits that make a draft read like model output. Document Tools counts the same draft. Neither one rewrites it, and neither one stores it.
A role that would only restate a server's homepage is not listed. The full server list is the MCP install guides.
