track competitor prices on a shopify store
You get the store's products, prices, variants and availability, plus new, removed, repriced and sold-out variants since the previous daily snapshot; pass up to 5 store addresses, with optional query and limit.
The first snapshot has no changes, because there is nothing earlier to compare with. It works only for Shopify stores that publish their public product feed at /products.json; other stores are reported as unavailable. Asking adds the store to the daily snapshot list. Tool: check_store_prices on https://stores.openkrill.app/mcp.
which products on this store are sold out
You get the store's restocked and sold-out variants along with matching products; pass the store address, and use query to narrow by title, brand, type or handle, and limit to cap the list.
Stock changes are shown per variant against the previous daily snapshot. A store seen for the first time has no changes yet. Stores that are not on Shopify or keep their feed private are reported as unavailable. Tool: check_store_prices on https://stores.openkrill.app/mcp.
how has the price of this product changed over time
You get, per variant, the price, the compare-at (was) price and availability on each day something changed; pass the store address and the product's link, handle or title.
History starts on the first snapshot, so a store never read before shows one day only. It is most useful after the store has been tracked. If the status is ambiguous, candidates come back: ask the user to pick one, then call again with that title. Tool: get_product_price_history on https://stores.openkrill.app/mcp.
compare prices of the same products between two stores
You get matched product pairs with both prices, the gap, the percent spread, stock, links and the landed gap after shipping and duty allowances; pass source_store and target_store.
Products are paired by title by default; use match_by handle for two regional stores of one brand. Other currencies are converted into the target currency with the latest ECB reference rate unless fx_rate is given. Status no_matches means no product paired: try another match_by, a shorter query or a lower min_gap_pct. Tool: compare_store_prices on https://stores.openkrill.app/mcp.
