How it ranks

It matches your words against each skill's name, its description and its plugin's name, plus the words people use for the same job (slides, deck, pptx). A plugin also matches on its summary.
A result that covers more of your words ranks higher. A skill named for the job, such as xlsx for a spreadsheet, ranks high even when its description misses a word. On a close match, plugins made by Anthropic come first, then reviewed partners.
Each plugin shows up to 3 times, so one big plugin does not fill the list.

How to install

Claude Code installs a whole plugin: run the claude plugin install line in a terminal, or type it after /plugin in Claude Code.
Any agent: npx skills add installs one skill from its repository into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents.
Connectors have no repository. Add them in the Claude app under Settings, Connectors.
