Your Cloudflare bill jumped, and you cannot see why. Get one sheet that shows where it comes from.
Paste the usage numbers from your Cloudflare dashboard. A person prices every meter at the published rates, finds the monthly request count where your VPS would be cheaper, and names the lines that grow fastest. We never log in to your Cloudflare account.
- Bill sheet
- 79 USD per account
- Migration order
- 149 USD with the sheet
- Delivery
- 24 hours after the deposit, 48 with the order
- Payment
- escrow on Upwork or Deel
Opens the quote form with this offer filled in; say there if you want the 149 USD migration order too. We confirm the fixed price within 1 business day, and the platform holds the payment until you approve the result.
Who it is for
An indie developer or a small team with a product on Cloudflare Workers who saw the bill grow, or is about to leave the free plan, and wants to know whether a VPS would be cheaper before moving anything.
The problem, in developers' own words
From a public thread on X with about 95,000 views and the posts that answered it, September and October 2026, translated from Chinese by us:
- "Serverless pricing can hit developers with a huge bill. I was stung for over 1,000 USD myself." (post of 2026-09-29)
- "This month's Cloudflare bill was a full 1,000 USD. Requests alone reached 2.6 billion." (post of 2026-10-04)
- "There was not much traffic, but once function calls went up, the bill took off. I moved back to a 10 USD VPS." (reply of 2026-10-05)
- "On the free plan, going over the limit stops the site and costs nothing. On the paid plan, it does not stop." (reply of 2026-10-05)
What you get
- A sheet with every meter you use: Workers requests and CPU time, Workers Logs, D1, KV, R2 and Durable Objects. For each: what you used, what your plan includes, the published price above that, and the cost. Another product on your bill is named on the sheet with a link to its price page, but not priced.
- This month's total as plan fee plus usage, so you can match it with your invoice. The sheet is a short document with one table, sent by email.
- The same month on the VPS price you give us, and the monthly request count where the VPS becomes cheaper at your mix.
- The lines that grow fastest with traffic, each with the request count where it starts to bill, and what usually causes them: a page that polls every few seconds, a D1 query that counts a whole table, logs on every request.
- With the migration order (149 USD): a written plan of what stays on Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, R2), what can move to your VPS and in which order, the check before each step (for example, the VPS answers the same requests with the same results), and how to roll back (point the route or DNS record back to the Worker). You run it.
What you paste
A screenshot or a paste of the product usage table on your account's billable usage page (in the Cloudflare dashboard: Manage Account, then Billing, then Billable Usage), or the numbers from each product's metrics page, for the last 30 days. Say whether you are on Workers Free or Workers Paid, and the monthly price of the VPS you would compare with. Your last invoice total helps if you have one. One account per sheet.
How it works
- Send the quote form. Say 79 USD for the sheet or 149 USD with the migration order. It takes a minute. From a script or an AI agent, send
task,wanted_outcome,deadline,contact,consent(true) and"offer": "cfbill"as JSON toPOST /v1/intake, as our llms.txt describes. - We email you within 1 business day to confirm the fixed price and send a contract on Upwork or Deel, whichever you prefer. You fund it there; the platform holds the money until you approve the sheet.
- You reply to that email with your numbers: screenshots or pasted text both work, no file format needed. The sheet arrives within 24 hours, or 48 hours with the migration order.
- Change something and send the new numbers within 14 days: we price them again at no cost.
What we never do
We never log in to your Cloudflare account, and we never ask for a password or an API token. We never change your settings, your DNS or your code. Not included: doing the migration for you, reading your code, or a promise about future Cloudflare prices.
Worked example: our own account, not a client
This is the sheet for the Cloudflare account that runs this site and its tools, from our own meters for the last 31 days (2026-09-07 to 2026-10-08). Our spend watcher reads them every minute from Cloudflare's analytics. The Workers Logs line is an estimate of 3 events per request, not a reading. Prices read from developers.cloudflare.com on 2026-10-08, Workers Paid plan. Each line is rounded up to whole billing units, so the sheet never shows less than the bill.
| Meter | Last 31 days | Included per month, then the price | Cost, USD |
|---|---|---|---|
| Workers requests | 740,010 | 10 million, then 0.30 USD per million | 0.00 |
| Workers CPU time (ms) | 4,043,955 | 30 million, then 0.02 USD per million ms | 0.00 |
| Workers Logs events | 2,220,030 | 20 million, then 0.60 USD per million | 0.00 |
| D1 rows read | 8,345,134 | 25 billion, then 0.001 USD per million | 0.00 |
| D1 rows written | 464,201 | 50 million, then 1.00 USD per million | 0.00 |
| D1 storage (GB) | 0.089 | 5, then 0.75 USD per GB-month | 0.00 |
| KV reads | 458,931 | 10 million, then 0.50 USD per million | 0.00 |
| KV writes | 25 | 1 million, then 5.00 USD per million | 0.00 |
| KV deletes | 17 | 1 million, then 5.00 USD per million | 0.00 |
| KV lists | 14 | 1 million, then 5.00 USD per million | 0.00 |
| KV storage (GB) | under 0.001 | 1, then 0.50 USD per GB-month | 0.00 |
| R2 Class A operations | 3,646 | 1 million, then 4.50 USD per million | 0.00 |

| R2 storage (GB) | 0.01 | 10, then 0.015 USD per GB-month | 0.00 |
| Durable Objects requests | 10,550 | 1 million, then 0.15 USD per million | 0.00 |
| Durable Objects duration (GB-s) | 2,222 | 400,000, then 12.50 USD per million GB-s | 0.00 |
| Durable Objects rows read | 1,371,709 | 25 billion, then 0.001 USD per million | 0.00 |
| Durable Objects rows written | 741,729 | 50 million, then 1.00 USD per million | 0.00 |
| Durable Objects storage (GB) | 0.023 | 5, then 0.20 USD per GB-month | 0.00 |
- This month: 5.00 USD plan fee plus 0.00 USD usage, 5.00 USD in all. Every meter is inside what the plan includes.
- The VPS we compare with: 8.50 USD per month, the public list price of the OVHcloud VPS class we use. Our own contract price was not checked, so treat it as an estimate.
- Where the VPS becomes cheaper: about 8.3 million requests per month at our mix, 11 times our traffic now. Without the Workers Logs estimate it is about 16.1 million. That assumes one VPS can carry the same load.
The first lines to bill as our traffic grows:
- Workers CPU time (ms): from about 5.5 million requests per month.
- Workers Logs events: from about 6.7 million requests per month.
- Workers requests: from about 10 million requests per month.
Our own surprise, from our records: on 2026-10-04 two of our background jobs asked a Worker for work every 2 seconds and made 118,028 requests in one day, above the free plan's 100,000 per day. We slowed them to once a minute. Your sheet names lines like that one.
