Dev Facts Check, Package Health Check and CVE Risk Check answer the reference questions that show up in a pull request. Document Tools counts text or writes a calendar file when the question is not about a dependency.
Tasks these servers can do
Is Node.js 20 still supported, and when does it reach end of life?
Call get_eol_status on Dev Facts Check (https://devfacts.openkrill.app/mcp). Release cycles from endoflife.date, with the date of the data. It is not a vulnerability scan.
Install steps: ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Pi.
Is the MIT license OSI approved?
Call check_license on Dev Facts Check (https://devfacts.openkrill.app/mcp). The SPDX record, including OSI and FSF status. A license answer is not legal advice.
Install steps: ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Pi.
Does this npm release have a known advisory, and when was it last published?
Call check_package on Package Health Check (https://packages.openkrill.app/mcp). OSV.dev advisories, license and release dates for the name and version you give. Private package names should not be sent.
Install steps: ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Pi.
How bad is CVE-2024-3094?
Call check_cve on CVE Risk Check (https://cve.openkrill.app/mcp). Priority, CVSS, CISA status and EPSS for that id. It does not say whether your installed version is in the affected range. Use Package Health Check for a package version.
Install steps: ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Pi.
What they will not do
Browser support and RFC lookups are also on Dev Facts Check (check_browser_support and lookup_rfc). Document Tools can count a paragraph or make an .ics file. It does not store the text you count.
Where to start
Each link above is a client-specific install page with one call that was checked against the live server. The plain-text list of every server is llms.txt. The words MCP, tool and streamable HTTP are defined in the MCP glossary.
