How Post Stats works

Post Stats tells an agent how many people saw and liked a public post on YouTube, TikTok or X. Every number comes with where it was read and when.

The counter being read: its wheels roll to the count, its column rises and it prints a ticketEach block on a column is 10,000 views; the ~ tag marks a rounded, not exact countHow Post Stats reads a post. It reads the public numbers a platform shows, and keeps each one with its source and the time it was read. A number the platform hides is not public, never 0, and a rounded number is marked as not exact. The example counts are made up for the picture.

Move the pointer over the picture, tap it, or use the arrow keys to step through it. Its steps:

  1. YouTube post · 48,210 views
  2. TikTok post · 12,900 views
  3. X post · 3.4K, not exact
  4. compare · YouTube leads

What the picture leaves out

It reads public pages and free APIs only, and waits between requests to each site. A number the platform does not show is listed as not public, never as 0.

A rounded count such as 1.2M is kept as it is and marked as not exact. Comparing posts ranks them by views and adds likes for every 1,000 views.
